Personal Bio
I am Reginald Burks, the visionary behind Healthy Men Disguised (HMD), an organization and community movement dedicated to enhancing men’s mental and physical health.
Leveraging my extensive occupational, vocational, and educational background, I have successfully created an environment where the community can enjoy themselves while learning about critical health issues affecting men daily. My diverse skill set has been instrumental in organizing events that are both informative and engaging.
As a logistics provider, I ensure seamless transportation for clients to and from special events across the Southwest United States and Northern Mexico. My expertise extends to being a paid consultant and onsite advisor for nightlife entertainment establishments, where my deep industry knowledge and event promotion experience help clients exceed their customer expectations.
My track record in event creation and promotions, contract negotiations, and task completions is exemplary. As a successful concert promoter, I have entertained countless individuals, and I now apply those winning strategies to produce events that effectively disseminate health information to men in our community.
The inspiration for HMD came from personal experiences with friends who faced severe mental and physical health challenges. HMD serves as a platform for men to shed their “I am okay” disguises and actively engage in their health development.
Each HMD event is designed to create a comfortable atmosphere where men can openly discuss health concerns, ask questions, and consult with licensed health professionals on-site. My goal is to foster a supportive community where men feel empowered to prioritize their health and well-being.
What
We have a national platform of events that will provide a resource fair in which valuable information and guidance will be accessible to all attendees.
Professional medical staff will be in attendance for individual and group consultation.
When
Plenty of notice will be given for the multiple events we plan to execute via local and national digital, social, and print media.
Where
We have a national platform. An event coming soon to a city near you.
Why
Most men avoid doctors and hospitals with vigor. They really do not want to go. 2 reasons, fear of what the doctor may say or simply they have a Superman complex (I'll be okay). Our platform has a space for health information to be shared from professionals to the every day males, young and old in a fun engaging atmosphere.

Our event engine has 3 platforms of unique events. All events are handled by specifically chosen professional managers and individually selected volunteers.
